Now I am urged to use softer language to appeal to a wider audience. Why do my friends at Camp Casey think they are there? In 1989 the Peoples Republic of China sent troops into Tiananmen Square to suppress a group pro-democracy protestors. As the tanks progressed into the square one man in an act of defiance against the government that was killing his people, walked out from the crowd and stood alone in front of the line of approaching tanks. The tanks stopped. The driver in the lead tank tried to steer around the man, but he moved in front of the tank and stood there, keeping the tanks at bay for nearly a half an hour. -
